Northern Italy before the Romans, Part 1 and 2 The concluding lecture on Northern Italy before the Romans is slated for Friday, January 18 at St. George’s Church, 905 Princess Anne Street, in Sydnor Hall, which is accessed from the George Street entrance. This second lecture concludes the earlier talk given on October 12, 2018. A pre-lecture gathering time begins at 6:30 with light refreshments, followed by the lecture at 7 PM. The event is free and open to all. Donations will be accepted.
Dr. Billy Chestnut is a researcher, lecturer, and writer in Italian history and European culture. A native of the Campania region, he was born in Naples. He has lived throughout Europe for thirty years, and for decades has actively participated in many history-based groups. His lecture will continue his examination of some of the ancient cultures in that region, beyond the most famous of them, the Etruscans.
