From April 18–29, 2024, a group from the Fredericksburg-Este Association visited Este, Italy. Some had been to Este before, but for others it was their first visit. This year’s Fredericksburg group included Lisa Durham, Mary Katherine Greenlaw, Bill Hatch, Rick and Sue Henderson, Matt and Kena Hengy, Cathy Herndon, Casey Hu, and Philip Pryor. The group enjoyed the beautiful city; the Flower Festival; the Medieval Festival and walking tour of the town while dressed in costumes; day trips to Padua, Venice, and Verona; as well as delicious meals and gracious hospitality.
