Pizza Palooza
Pizza Palooza 2024 is Saturday, September 21, at Riverfront Park
Pizza, beer, and rock ’n roll will be offered up at Pizza Palooza on Saturday, September 21, 2024. The fundraiser for Fredericksburg’s Italian sister city association will take place in Riverfront Park from 5–9 p.m., and music by Acoustic Onion will feature plenty of Beatles tunes and greatest rock hits.
Admission is $2 cash. Credit cards will be accepted for all other purchases: Beer is $5 a can and Italian wines are $5 a pour; soft drinks and water are also available, as well as gelato, or Italian ice cream, from Italian Station.
The highlight of the evening is the $1-a-slice pizza. Attendees will be given a chip at admission, and then they will vote on their favorite pizza. The winner of this popular vote will be awarded the People’s Choice Award in this “battle of the pizzas.”
Thank you to our Title Professionals
The event is presented by the Fredericksburg-Este Association, and

Fredericksburg-Este Conversational Italian Get-Togethers
In July, the Fredericksburg-Este Association organized conversational Italian get-togethers to help beginners learn the language and allow others to improve their knowledge of Italian. A good time was enjoyed by all as they enjoyed good company and delicious Italian food and wine.
Vuoi parlare italiano? There are two opportunities: dinner (to accommodate those who work during the day) or lunch. The dinners will be held on the second Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. and the lunches on the third Thursday of the month at noon. Everyone is welcome, no matter how much or little they may speak Italian. For more information, please contact Jackie Boice at jacklynboice@gmail.com or (540) 891-2814.
